The resources outlined below are available to those who self-identify as Aboriginal. For further hands-on support, patients can self-refer & practitioners can refer patients to one of Kootenay Boundary’s Aboriginal Health Coordinators, referral form >

This service is available for all self-identifying Aboriginal peoples including Métis, Inuit and non-status as well as their family (regardless if family member is aboriginal or not) who do not have a family Doctor. Doctors are on call seven days a week to provide medical advice, prescriptions and referrals.

Funding specifically for training that leads to employment. Funding is available for one year maximum. Available to all Indigenous people living in the KB region.
